Class Calling is going to be our classroom blog page. There are lots of things we can do with our blog page so we need to start thinking what we can use it for. Already I am looking forward to getting some of your art work on the blog and some of those amazing stories we write. We can chat to each other and let people from anywhere around the world look at our blog and write to us. Do you have any ideas about what we could put on this blog? Do you think it is a good idea? If you were away would you check the blog to see what was happening in class? I am really excited about Class Calling, even though I am going to have to practise a lot to get it set up with you.

Term 4

The last term of the year has just begun and we have lots of happy learning to keep us busy. It is a Spring and Summer term so we should be able to find and make lots of shadows to give us ideas for our shadow puppets. We will plant Emma's sunflowers and see how tall they grow as they reach for the sun and cast shadows on the ground. Giving and following directions is very important in life to make sure we get to places and understand instructions so this week we are turning left and right in 1/4 turns, 1/2 turns, going forwards and backwards. Who knows where we will end up! I have to finish this now as it is night time and I am going to find a torch so I can practise making shadow animals on the wall. I wonder if I can make a monkey.
